Hi, I am Franky Boomer and I am a mexican singer and musician. Thanks for visiting my site! I play guitar, piano and I am an Ableton user also. Two years ago I have recorded my first EP, called Magic (Download free on SoundCloud), wich includes ballads and dance music. I writte my own lyrics and I compose the whole music track. Also I co-produced my EP.
I was born in Bremen, Germany, but my family and me we moved to Mexico when I was a child. My house was alwas full of music, my mother introduced me to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. I learned to sing and to play guitar when I was 12 years old, since then my biggest dream is to become one of the greatest singers and songwritters. I formed a rock band, named Purple Heaven, at the highschool, so my first attempt of music success was rock music. I was the lead singer and rythmic guitar, but the band was dissolved because I was tired of playing covers of famous bands, like Black Sabbath, Toto, Coldplay or Jimi Hendrix. I always loved more to compose songs, since I learned music, so a cover band was not good enough for me. Later at the college I learned to play piano and I felt in love with R&B and pop music, specially Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Then I started my project as a pop music singer.

Finally, four years ago I arranged enough pop songs for a EP, but I haven´t enough money to recruit musicians. I discovered bass music in those times, drum and bass, dubstep, glitch hop and trap (my favourites was Nero, Logistics and Zomboy), so I was introduced to music production and to music arrangement softwares, specially Ableton Live. That was an achievement for me, because I composed all my songs on computer, without actual musicians. But that sounds better for my music! This is the reason why "recently" I published my EP, even when I arranged the songs four years ago. I never had enough money. Something funny about this is the fact that Ableton Live is very expensive for me, so I´ve produced the entire EP in a classroom with computers. I used the Ableton Live trial version only, so there are many songs that contains mixing fails. I had to produce every single song in a couple of hours. Sorry if you noticed that.
The most powerfull influence for me as a musician is Stevie Wonder. He is the reason of combination of a range genres (and the reason of strong piano lines like 'Cherry blossom tree'). As a guitar man I can account the influence of Eric Clapton and Eddie Van Halen (tapping technique is a favourite one as you may notice in 'Once upon a time...'). They are my favourite guitar players. Another influences in the EP 'Magic' is Akira Yamaoka and his melancholic piano breaks (listen 'Ghost in the rain'), and Mr. Paco de Lucia and his spanish flamenco feelings (as you can notice on 'Magic'). I´m a huge fan of the romantic era (Chopin, Rachmaninov and Lizt)so I want to incorporate classic string feelings to my songs, thinking in Hans Zimmer, James Cameron and Noah Sorota.

My journey inspires me to mixing a lot of genres, including pop, rock, EDM, dubstep, country, R&B, jazz, salsa, etc, resulting a wide music mix. I want to be as original as I can. I rather to stay mainly on pop, because I want everybody sings my songs. However I still chasing my dream and I got a lot of new songs, but I can´t record it because I don´t have enough money. The current mexican economical situation force me to work in a non related to music job and support my family. If you like my music and you think I deserve to reach my dream you can help me donating. Currently I am working in two new albums, Fire and π, wich includes funk, reggae, soul, ska, mariachi and huapango. I hope you like my new releases such as my EP 'Magic'.
